Finding the right person to record our first album was no easy task. It took us quite a while to find an engineer who gathered all of the qualities we were looking for. Much to our pleasant surprise we came across Felipe Perez, in whom we could recognize that which we had hoped to find for quite some time, in fact, by far surpassing our expectations. A man of professionalism, critical and objective, he certainly enriched our project with several ideas in his field, helping us find the right way to attain the ideal sound qualities for every piece and for the album as a whole. Obsessive with the knowledge of his work elements, the software and equipment being used, microphones, use of the recording space; and always teaching and explaining the why and why not, using each of these elements to reach a minimum level of distortion, and put forward the best qualities of each composition and the quartet’s sound itself to a maximum.
